Painted or stained yellow pine is perfect for covered porches or when kept under a cover and requires some maintenance over time.  Painted or stained yellow pine is NOT recommended for extended direct exposure to rain, snow, heat, or moisture that can cause rot.  For those applications, choose a , , or  product instead.
